#BrewingBetter is more than just introducing better coffee brewing methods at our coffee shops. That was, of course, the place to start and ultimately the whole project relies on customers falling in love with better and better coffee. But behind this is a new journey we have begun to positively impact the lives of Ugandan coffee farmers. Women like Mama Alex (pictured above) who lives in a village near Sipi Falls, grow coffee for survival. We dream of entering into long term relationships with such farmers to help them develop their coffee and improve both crop yields and quality. Can Mama Alex move from survival farming to a truly thriving enterprise which creates a bright future for herself and her children? That’s the plan.
